1.22 Outlook Integration, Files from Chat, Opus 5.5 and New GPT-6 Models (Sep 24, 2026)

Use Outlook emails in chat, let MAIA create files and choose Opus 5.5 or the new GPT-6 models. In Agent Mode, you can also get an answer earlier.

Last updated 1 day ago

With release 1.22, you can use emails and attachments from Outlook as sources in chat. In Agent Mode, MAIA can also create files for you, such as an Excel spreadsheet or a PDF report. On top of that, there are new models and an option to cut an ongoing research short.

Connect your Microsoft account in the settings under "Integrations" and choose which mailboxes or folders MAIA should sync. This works with your own mailbox and with shared mailboxes. You can see the sync status in the settings. Afterwards, you'll find the emails and their attachments in the "Select Files" menu under "Outlook" and can use them in chat.

By default, the first import covers emails from the last 30 days, up to 1,000 messages. A workspace owner or admin needs to enable Outlook for the workspace once beforehand.

📁 Create Files in Agent Mode

Ask MAIA for a file in Agent Mode, for example an Excel spreadsheet with analyzed figures or a report as a PDF. The finished file appears right below the answer and is ready to download. You can also preview PDFs there first.

🤖 New Models

The model picker now includes Claude Opus 5.5, also with extended reasoning, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. The new models appear at the top of the list and are operated within the EU. You can select them manually. The "Auto" option doesn't use them yet.

💬 Quick Answer in Agent Mode

If the research so far is enough for you, click "Quick answer" in Agent Mode. MAIA stops the research and answers with the information gathered up to that point. The answer includes a note that the research was cut short.

The button appears for research without High Precision Mode.
