Release 1.13: Insight Hub (Beta) & stronger Reasoning Models (Jan 07, 2026)

…to kick off another MAIA release!
With version 1.13, we’re introducing new features around Insights, more powerful reasoning models, and a range of technical improvements in MAIA.

⭐ Insight Hub: Implicit Insights (Beta)

Are there recurring questions in your company whose answers aren’t documented anywhere officially, but instead live as implicit knowledge?

With the Insight Hub, we’re taking a decisive step in this direction: we’re laying the foundation to make implicit knowledge visible, structured, and accessible to everyone.
The new Insight Hub introduces a central feature for the automatic detection of implicit information (so-called “insights”) within your organization. It helps uncover hidden patterns, relationships, and findings from existing content—without any manual searching.

The feature is currently in beta. This means it’s not yet enabled for everyone, but is being tested and further developed with selected customers. Soon, the Insight Hub will be available directly in MAIA for all users.

🧠 Reasoning Models: now even more transparent & powerful

Would you like to understand MAIA’s thinking steps when using reasoning LLMs? You can now do exactly that!

Our reasoning models have been further improved and now offer:
✅ Transparent reasoning: understandable reasoning steps for better control and trust (“thinks step by step”, see image)
✅ Even more reasoning power for complex questions

Note: In the top-right corner, you’ll find an arrow that allows you to easily expand the reasoning process. Depending on complexity, reasoning-based answers may take more time and resources—but in return, you’ll receive particularly well-founded results.

🔧 Technical Improvements & Bug Fixes

Confluence integration stable again
✅ Sync is reliable once more; content can be used as usual.
Password reset stable again
✅ Recent hiccups affecting some MAIA users have been resolved.
Performance improvements
✅ MAIA feels noticeably faster and more stable overall
